L-GlutamineProduct Overview:L-glutamine is an essential amino acid required for cell culture growth. The normal concentration of L-glutamine in media is 292 mg/L or 2 mM. L-glutamine is not stable for long periods of time unless it is frozen. The material should be aliquoted to smaller volumes and then frozen. The stability of L-glutamine in culture medium is primarily dependent on the temperature at which it is stored. Lonza test data for long-term storage indicates that the L-glutamine concentration is reduced by approximately 2-3% per month in tissue culture medium stored at 2◦C-8◦C. However, basal medium containing L-glutamine supports cell growth for up to 24 months when stored in refrigerated conditions.订货信息
